U.S. Killing of Gen. Soleimani likely to escalate insecurity ~ Obaze

The new year ought to start with peace overtures, not the opening of a chain of conflicts! The U.S. airstrike that killed Gen. Qassem Soleimani, though perceptibly in U.S. strategic interest, was absolutely unnecessary. This is an act with vast potentials of escalating into global insecurity as Iran will surely seek reprisals. Global apprehension over this singular act is indeed justfied.
