Selonnes Consult Climate Policy Expert in Bonn for UN Climate Negotiations
Selonnes Consult’s Chiagozie Udeh, has arrived Bonn, Germany as one of the 40 Youth Scholars from the Global South selected by the UNFCCC, YOUNGO and Fiji Presidency of COP23 to participate in the first-ever Action for Climate Empowerment (ACE) Youth Forum which holds from 28-29 April and afterwards joined the UN Climate Change Conference named Intersessionals (SB48) from 30 April to 11th May where he is one of young negotiators in the selection of the Fiji presidency. The ACE Youth Forum which took place on Sunday was praised by climate change experts at integral to achieving the goal of youth inclusion in climate action. The 48 Session of the Subsidiary Body meeting which started yesterday is expected to achieve sufficient background work ahead on the Paris rule-book that is expected to be finalized in Katowice by December.
