Obaze in Nnewi, consoles Ekesson

Oseloka H. Obaze, PDP Governorship Candidate, at Nnewi, condoles with Chief Eugene Ojukwu (Chairman, Ekesson Transport Ltd.) during the funeral ceremony of his deceased mother, Late Ezindu Nzom Ojukwu (Nee Ojukwu).

Ome-ogo, who died at the ripe age of 94, grew up when female education was not considered important, and as such, didn’t have the opportunity to be formally educated. Thankfully, she spent the concluding part of her life in an era of women empowerment and gender mainstreaming, and lived to see her female grandchildren attain educational feats she wasn’t privileged to attain.

Obaze attended the funeral ceremony in the company of his wife, Dr. Ofunne Omo Obaze; his running mate, Lady Chidi Alex Onyemelukwe and husband, Engr. Dr. Okey Onyemelukwe; father of the Deputy Governorship Candidate and former Vice President of Nigeria, Dr. Alex Ekwueme; Igwe Prof. Laz Ekwueme, Minority Leader, Anambra State House of Assembly, Hon. Onyebuchi Offor; Leadership of Nnewi North Chapter of the PDP; and scores of party loyalists and supporters.
