Obaze and Onyemelukwe campaign convoy stopped by Nibo Ring Road flooding
The Nibo Ring Road in Awka was flooded due to government approved market project that blocked waterways. Everyone is wondering who approved the EIA, if any. The flooding is evidence government not working efficiently. The campaign convoy Oseloka Obaze and Chidi Onyemelukwe was forced to turn back and use alternative route this morning as heavy flooding besieged Nibo road. This problem was created by the current Anambra State government that issued licence for a market project on the edge of a definite waterway, resultin subsequently in the blocking of the water channel. Traversing this route after a downpour has been a nightmare in the past three years with consequent losses. Mr Obaze while inspecting the scen with his entourage, said “Government must solve problems not create them.”
