OHO Press Release: 17/25 of 11 August, 2017Statement Attributable to Mr. Oseloka H. Obaze, on being cleared provisionally for the PDP Governorship elections in Anambra 

I am gratified and thankful to God that today I was cleared provisionally, by the Adamu Maina Waziri led PDP screening committee to contest the Anambra State governorship election, starting with the primaries. I also thank members of the screening panel for their steadfastness, diligence and graciousness.  

The provisional clearance arose from an ongoing process in compliance with the Constitution our great party and relative to obtaining a waiver. Due process has been adhered to fully on my part, by my ward, local government and state executives and on the part of the screening committee. What is left is for the National ExCo to fulfill its statutory role in that regard, in order to complete the process. I remain confident that the matter will be concluded soon. 

I thank all those who have called or sent messages of support or conveyed their best wishes. Our Mission is to change the governance narrative in Anambra State, because Anambra deserves better.
