Oseloka H. Obaze (OHO) Felicitates with Ogbaru Anglican Community Synod

Oseloka H. Obaze today joined Ogbaru Anglican Community in the 2nd Session of the 4th Synod of the Diocese. He was gladly welcomed by the Bishop and Wife; Rt. Rev. Dr. Samuel C. & Mrs. Chinyere H. Ezeofor (JP), in the company of Rt. Rev. Ephraim Ikeakor (JP) – Bishop, Anglican Diocese of Amichi – the entire Ogbaru Anglican Clergy, and Synod Delegates.Obaze remarked that the constitution separates the church and the state but does not foreclose collaboration between the two. “Nigeria with an estimated population of 180 million people has 10.5 million out of school children. The Government needs all the help it can get to educate all our children. If the church cannot help, we are in trouble.” He reiterated his long-standing commitment to support churches in their role of contributing to education, social welfare, healthcare delivery and the overall development of the society.
