Why buildings still collapse in Anambra – Obaze

Failure to punish non-performance or shoddy handling of public contracts has been identified as one of the biggest administrative problems in Nigeria.  Immediate past Secretary to the Anambra State Government and an aspirant in the 2017 governorship election in the State, Mr. Oseloka H. Obaze, told The Oracle Today in Awka that it is sad that most major contracts including specialized projects are often given to people based on special relationships, linkages, contacts or political patronage and considerations, a situation he said compromises technical know-how and effective performance.
