Oseloka H. Obaze (OHO) at Alpha Roadio — says uniformed or selfish advisers causing rifts within three arms of government.

Appearing today 5 April, 2017 on Alpha Radio in Nnobi, Anambra State PDP gubernatorial aspirant, Mr Oseloka H. Obaze discussed the rift between the legislative and executive arms of the Nigerian government. Mr Obaze recalled the the 1999 Constitution was clear in its delineation of inherent powers between the legislative, executive and judicial arms of government. He noted that in the tripartite system, the three arms were separate but equal given the political doctrine of the separation of powers. He admitted that there were strengths and weaknesses in the democratic system, yet it was uniformed or selfish advisers that were causing rifts within three arms of government – by poor consultations, not being proactive and offering the leadership poor advice all contributed to inertia and rifts between the various arms.
