Obaze join Friends of Fr. Chetanna Jude Chukwuneke in thanksgiving at Nnewi

Fr Chetanna Jude Chukwuneke who along with two other priests survived attacks by Fulani herdsmen on 26 September 2016, was joined by fellow clergy, family, friends and mentees in a thanksgiving service at St Camillus de Lellis Chaplaincy, College of Healt Sciences, UNIZIK, Nnewi on 11 December, 2016. Fr Chetanna used the occasion to present his most recent book, The Meeting.  Among the dignitaries present were the representative of HE Gov. Willie Obiano, HRH Igwe Kenneth Orizu, Prof Ben Odo, SSG Ebonyi, Prof Emeka Ezeonu, Selonnes Conslt MD/CEO Mr Oseloka H. Obaze and his team, Dr Ajulu Uzodike, Dr. Patrick Obi.  Follow priest present were Fr Theo Odukwe, Mr Marti Anusi, Fr Anthony Ibegbunam and others.  Mr Obaze remarked that Fr Jude’s experience and testimony brought home to many, the grave danger posed by Armed Fulani herdsmen, which if unchecked, would become irreversible.  Obaze stated that “Miracles still happen. We are witnesses,” and he also underlined that the “the herdsmen crisis in Nigeria is deeply troubling.”

Mr. Obaze is the former Secretary to the State Government of Anambra State, Nigeria from 2012 to 2015 - MD & CEO, Oseloka H. Obaze. Mr. Obaze also served as a former United Nations official, from 1991-2012, and as a former member of the Nigerian Diplomatic Service, from 1982-1991.
