Selonnes Consult Cilmate and Energy Expert attends AU ECOSOCC meeting in Cairo
Selonnes Consult’s Chiagozie Udeh has arrived Cairo, Egypt where he is participating in the African Union Economic, Social and Cultural Commission (AU ECOSOCC) Joint Meeting of the Six Sectoral Clusters as one of the representatives of the Infrastructure and Energy Cluster.
The meeting which lasts from 16-18 April, 2018 aims to deepen concrete collaboration between the African Union Commission departments and corresponding clusters of the ECOSOCC with the later expected to provide technical inputs into the work of the African Union.
The meeting started yesterday with opening statements from the Presiding Officer of the AU ECOSOCC, Mr. Richard Ssewa and the Director of Citizens and Diaspora Directorate (CIDO) Mr. Ahmed El-Basheer will end on the 18 but not without a meeting with Egyptian Civil Society organizations on the 19th. Over 50 participants from AU member States are attending the meeting at Sheraton Hotel Cairo.
