Selonnes Consult MD/CEO Mr. Oseloka H. Obaze Receives ANSG Award
Statement attributable to Hon. Oseloka H. Obaze on being recognized by the Anambra State Government and awarded the certificate of being the most tax compliant individual in the State on Saturday 12 December 2020 at the Golden Tulip Hotel, Agulu.
“I am immensely grateful for the honour and recognition accorded to me today by the Anambra State Government.
I do not consider that I have done anything extraordinary in paying my personal and corporate taxes in full and as at when due. I see such conduct as my civic duty and obligation and a means of adding value to good governance in Anambra State. Furthermore, fulfilling my tax obligations confers on me the privilege to ask questions, and criticize governance modalities, if the need ever arises.
Any Nigerian and Anambra state citizen being in good standing, requires their fulfilling their tax obligations. Government, for its part, must spend tax revenue resources judiciously and transparently. ”
