Once upon a time, Nigeria wasAfrica’s bellwether  and voice on global issues.  At no other time is her leadership and voice most needed, than now as the global politics of Covid-19 vaccine production, distribution and politics unfold.  Regrettably, Nigeria with her teeming population can’t seem to speak for herself, talk less for Africa.  Nigeria might have dodged the Covid-19 pandemic, but not to be part of the discussions of the longterm amelioration is a stark leadership and governance failure.
