Obaze urge members of “City Finest” Club to be resilient and exemplary
The MD/CEO of Selonnes Consult, Mr Oseloka H. Obaze and his wife Dr Ofunne Obaze were among the esteemed guests at the 2019 Dinner/Carol of the City Finest Club, Awka, held at the Parktonian Hotel. Other eminent guests were Anambra State Speaker, Rt. Hon Uche Okafor, the Anambra Head of Service, His Honour Barr. Harry Udu, Chief Maja Umeh, former Anambra State Commissioner of Information, Dr. Francis Asokwu Sea, Legal Counsel Selonnes Consult and Architect Chinelo Ofoche, Senior Adviser, Selonnes Consult.
As the first speaker of the evening, Mr Obaze, urged members of the club to be resilient, exemplary and remain faithful to their founding ideals and remit, so as not to be derailed. He extolled the collective professionalism and altruism of the members, noting that a “seed has been planted that would outlive each and every one of them. Many years from now, people will study the origin and humble beginnings of this noble club and its strides over the years.” Jokingly, Mr. Obaze told the members that he “made it a point to attend their annual dinner, because they collectively inspire him, and when her grows up, he wishes to be like them.” He envisaged that in years to come, the “club would hold its annual events in its own building.”
