A Peoples’ Demo­cratic Party leading as­pirant, Mr Oseloka Obaze, has appealed to members of the party in Orumba North and Orumba South coun­cil area to ensure the party remains in their mind even as he can­vassed for vote from delegates during its party primary sched­uled for next week. 
Obaze, who was at the Akpu Town­hall Square with Rt Hon Ben Nwankwo, member representing Orumba North/South Constituency in the Federal House of Rep­resentatives, stressed why Anambra State deserved better candi­date than the incum­bent.
Obaze said 2017 of­fers PDP the best op­portunity to take back Anambra State Gov­ernment House, add­ing that the party will make the best of the opportunity only if it allows a credible and aptly qualified person to fly its flag in the 18 November 2017 Gov­ernorship elections.

In his remarks, Hon Ben Okonwo, while welcoming the aspi­rant, said Obaze was well qualified to run for office but needed to disclose to the Orum­ba population what his government would do for them eventually.
