DESMAP Council urge NGE to help combat hate speech and false news…

DESMAP Council recently called on the President of Nigerian Guild of Editors, Mrs Funke Egbemode and her Executives to seek their collaboration in managing hate speech and false news ahead of the 2019 elections. Both sides exchanged views and had very constructive discussions. They agreed on the imperative of tackling hate speeches and false news in the social media and the need to keep the dialogue going.
