Obaze (OHO) urges open process in selecting next Anambra North candidate for governorship
Selonnes Consult MD/CEO Mr. Oseloka H. Obaze (OHO), today addressed the Anambra North People Assembly (ANPA) ad hoc committee that visited Atani to engage Ogbaru stakeholders. The Chairman of the Committee, Dr. Tim Menakaya stated that the Anambra North did not select the candidate in 2013, but that in 2017, the zone would pick a candidate of its choice. In his intervention, Mr Obaze, the immediate-past SSG of Anambra told the committee members and Ogbaru stakeholders, that Anambra should be allowed to complete its second tenure but str seed that the process of selecting the Northern candidate should be open by striving for each party to present a candidate from the North. Accordingly, he stressed that no one from Anambra North should accept a deputy governorship position in 2017. He underlined that for the Ogbaru people there were many unfulfilled political promises that needed to be redressed.
