Mr. Oseloka H. Obaze, MD/CEO

Mr. Oseloka H. Obaze, Managing Director and Chief Executive Officer of Selonnes Consult joined the Board in June 2015. Mr. Obaze served most recently as the 9th Secretary (Secretary of State) to the Anambra State Government, in Nigeria from 29th June, 2012 to 8th June, 2015. Mr. Obaze is a former United Nations official (1991-2012) and also a former member of the Nigerian Diplomatic Service (1982-1991). A seasoned diplomat, international civil servant, strategic policy advisor, administrator, writer and literary critic, Mr. Obaze has a diverse and substantial background in political processes and a wealth of diplomatic, political and administrative experience, in national and international affairs, including direct experience working on countries facing complex challenges in Europe and Africa. Over the course of his distinguished diplomatic career spanning three decades, he was involved in various aspects of, preventive diplomacy, post-conflict peace building work, which required extensive assessment and writing of strategic planning policy, political, early warning papers. Mr. Obaze graduated from Nebraska Wesleyan University and University of Nebraska, both in Lincoln, Nebraska from where he received his Bachelor’s and Masters degree in Political Science and International Relations.   The author of three books, he has travelled to sixty-five countries.

 

Dr. Francis Asokwu Sea, Director, Legal Counsel

Dr. Asokwu Sea joined Selonnes Consult in July 2015 as Director/Legal Counsel upon separating from the Anambra States Government, where he served as Senior Special Assistant (SSA) on Inter-Governmental Affairs to the Governor, Anambra Stat (2013-2015).   Before that he was Special Assistant (SA) to the Secretary to the Anambra State Government (2012-2013) in charge of Media, Political Matters and Strategy. A highly professional attorney, with over twenty-five years of extensive experience in litigating criminal, civil, immigration and discrimination cases.  Has served as State Arbitrator for over 10 years in Essex County, State of New Jersey; Defense Counsel for City of East Orange, New Jersey; Land Condemnation Commissioner in Essex County.  He is a former distinguished ‘Special Master’ of the New Jersey Superior Court, Hearing Officer for police misconduct in the City of Orange, and also, an Adjunct Professor. He later served as a Consultant, with Ijoma and Associates, a New Jersey Firm – where he coordinated and supervised the deployment of Verbatim Recording System for the Supreme Court and other Federal Courts in Nigeria, including Training of their staff. Dr. Asokwu Sea graduated from Rutgers University, New Jersey and holds a Doctor of Jurisprudence from Rutgers University Law School, New Jersey.

 

Mr. Izu Okoye, Policy Research Associate (Technology, Economy & Governance)

Izuchukwu Jude Okoye joined Selonnes Consult in October 2016 in an ad-hoc capacity. He previously served as an Executive Assistant to the Governor Peter Obi of Anambra State (2007-2014); and Assistant Facilitator in Awareness Programme on MDG, for NYSC/BBC/MDG Youth Programmes, Abuja (June, 2005-June, 2006). For his NYSC, he as an Assistant to the Field Engineer Ministry of Works, Minna (March 2005-Feb. 2006).  He attended Christ the King College Onitsha graduating in 1993, and the University of Nigeria Nsukka from where he graduated in 2004 with a B.Eng. (Hons) in Electrical Engineering. He holds a PGD Economics -post-graduate diploma from Nnamdi Azikiwe University (UNIZIK), Awka (2015) and is a 2017 MSc. Economics candidate at Nnamdi Azikiwe University (UNIZIK), Awka.

 

 

Mr. Chiagozie Udeh, Policy Research Associate (Youth, Ecology & Media)

Chiagozie Udeh joined Selonnes Consult in October 2016 in an ad-hoc capacity. A student and graduate of Nnamdi Azikiwe University, Awka, Anambra State (2012-2016) with a Bachelor of Science (Hons) degree in Applied Biochemistry.  He was a Volunteer worker at UNIZIK 94.1 FM Awka, where he was involved in reporting, presenting, marketing, news casting and head of the political desk. He represented Nigerian Youths at the Global Energy Revolution Summit in Germany from October 30th to November 9th, 2016.  He was African Union Commission Youth Delegate to the Second Ordinary Session of the Specialized Technical Committee on Youth, Culture and Sports) at the AU headquarters Addis Ababa from June 13th to 17th, 2016; and Co-Convener African Union Agenda 2063 Press Conference in Lagos, Nigeria (April 2nd, 2016). Mr Udeh was the 2013 Most Resourceful Volunteer Worker at UNIZIK 94.1 FM COMMUNITY RADIO STATION AWKA; Winner June 2014 monthly event of TUNZA Eco-Generation (for activities related to the 2014 World Environment Day in partnership with Anambra State Government; and named one of the 20 Most Outstanding UNIZIK Students (for being very resourceful) by the UNIZK COMET Magazine (a publication of the final students of Mass Communication of Nnamdi Azikiwe University (UNIZIK), Awka) .

 

Mrs Christy Maduafokwa, Administrative Assistant/Secretary

Mrs Christy Maduafokwa joined Selonnes Consult in March 2016 as an Administrative Assistant and Secretary. She has responsibilities for general administrative duties, programmes and scheduling.

 

Mr. Kene “KC” Nwamah, Administrative Assistant/ PA to the MD

Mr. Kenechukwu “KC” Nwamah joined Selonnes Consult in March 2016 as an Administrative Assistant and Personal Assistant to the Managing Director. He is a graduate of Nnamdi Azikiwe University Awka, Anambra State, from where he earned his Bachelor of Science (Hons) in Accounting in 2013. He was his senior (final year) class representative. In April 2011, he served Ad hoc Staff of the Independent Electoral Commission, Awka South, where he ensured proper conduct and orderliness at the polling center and proper handling polling of materials and safe delivery to and from the polling station.
